At the British Society of Perfumers AGM on 15th May 2014, Peter Whipps was elected President of the Society. Peter is an independent perfumer and technical consultant specialising in the development of functional fragrances and the analysis of essential oils. with 38 years industry experience including 25 years with Bush Boake Allen.
Kate Williams is the new Vice President, Kate has 12 years experience as a perfumer for PZ Cussons and now Seven Scent. A trained psycholgist, Kate is involved in researching the human sense of smell and the use of fragrance within education and dementia.
We look forward to an exciting year ahead and would like to thank Immediate Past President John Bailey for the past two years Presidency which took us through our 50th Anniversary and the launch of the BSP book – British perfumery – a Fragrant History – a hard act to follow!
